Conversations Around Good - Madeline LeBlanc - On Board
This episode highlights Canadian Female Elite Paddle Boarding Champion Madeline LeBlanc. She shares how she fell in love with the sport while on vacation with her family and how that moment grew into a career in the SUP industry. In 2017 she claimed the Ontario SUP Series overall Open Female Category winner, as well as the ‘MVP’ (most valued paddler) award for her On Board efforts. At the end of the season she signed on as a team rider with ‘Starboard’ one of the worlds leading SUP companies. In 2018 she made an even bigger statement winning the overall Elite Female Category with the Ontario SUP Series, as well as taking the overall win and the yellow jersey at the 2018 and 2019 Mammoth Race in Toronto. She is also university student currently working on her master degree while congruently training the the world champion event. Hear how tragically losing two friends to cancer inspired her to create On Board, cancer research fundraiser which is now in its 7th year.

His book The Art of Giving came to him at the age of 13 when his dad taught him the joys of giving to others. Now at the ripe old age of 24, he compares community to a good gumbo. It is so much better when there are a lot of different ingredients in the mix. Sebastian also defines success by how many lives he has impacted.
